The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Projects for New Undergraduate Researchers (BUPNUR) launched in Spring and Summer 2024 and is being offered again in Spring and Summer 2026. The program helps students without prior research experience participate in faculty-mentored research projects, with an emphasis on lowering the barriers for all ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ students to access research opportunities. Spring 2026 stipends will be approximately $1,250, depending on demand and the number of positions funded. This is for a 4–6-hour weekly time commitment. Summer full-time opportunities include stipends of $5,000. The application for Spring is open through November 14, 2025. Stipends are made in two payments over the course of the semester, pending a successful mid-term evaluation. Projects range across disciplines.
