Research assistant – Growth patterning in gymnasts in Upstate New York between the 1970s and the 1990s
Description:
The purpose of this project is to analyze growth in different anthropometric characteristics of gymnasts in Upstate New York across three decades (1960s-1990s). The study will examine the drivers of growth through comparative analyses of morphological measurements obtained from gymnast populations across the specified time periods.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and responsible student who feels comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and datasets. Specific tasks include cross-referencing data between spreadsheets and may include data recorded on paper. The student may also be asked to perform targeted literature searches. Training will be provided.
