The education internship program is an experience that will provide foundational knowledge and skill sets needed in a variety of educational settings. Interns are expected to do a variety of tasks including but not limited to the Wild Science Program, social media, organization, and educational research and resource development. The Wild Science Program is designed to inspire middle school science students through interactive learning that delves into the fascinating world of nature. As an intern, you鈥檒l be part of a team responsible for guiding students through different educational programs, educational events, and behind the scenes work.
This internship鈥檚 goal is to provide a variety of experiences for those exploring a scientific career in education, conservation, and curation.
This is an unpaid internship. Interns must be at least 18 years of age. Preference will be given to those enrolled in an undergraduate program in STEM, education, and/or the natural/social sciences. Experience with summer camp programs (or similar) and social media is ideal. Internships have a minimum 120 hour requirement. 天美传媒 (SUNY) students who want college credit for their internship must go through the Fleishman Career Center.
