Title: Khovanov Homology Abstract: In 1984, Vaughan Jones defined the Jones polynomial: a Laurent polynomial invariant of knots. Khovanov homology is a bigraded homology theory which recovers the Jones polynomials. In this talk, we construct the Khovanov homology of a knot (or link) diagram and discuss some related results.
